Sterling Silver "Long Line" 8" Link Bracelet
About the Item
“Long Line”, the name of this sterling silver 8" link bracelet, is composed of straight, oblong shapes. The secure clasp has been created to be an integrated element in the design of this necklace. This bracelet has a matching 19" necklace (Ref.: LU2127211020192), which is shown separately. The name of these pieces is derived from “Langelinie”, a historic promenade along the old harbour in Copenhagen.
Kristin Urup is a Danish contemporary precious jewelry maker, an architect, and a designer. Her jewelry, miniature sculptures for one´s neck or arm, varies from freeform, organic shapes to precise geometrical forms, both simple and spatial. Each piece is handmade and unique and celebrates Scandinavian style with its purity and elegance.
The work of jewelry maker Kristin Urup has been selected by internationally renowned contemporary jewelry expert and curator Bryna Pomp who searches the world for outstanding precious metal jewelry that defines contemporary through its innovative design and craftsmanship.
