About the Item

Post war enameled airplane pendant charm. Stunning well detailed pendant charm, created in London England during the post war period, in the 1950. The charm has been made with very nice details in the shape of a British war plane from the RAF. Crafted in solid yellow gold of 9 karats with high polished finish and fitted with a ring on top to wear in a chain or a bracelet. Embellished with application of blue, white and red hot enamel. Pin on Allied Planes WWII The plane is a miniature of the Spitfire, also called Supermarine Spitfire, the most widely produced and strategically important British single-seat fighter of World War II. Weight: 3.65 Grams, (2.34 Dwt). Measurements: 32 mm by 32 mm x 5 mm (1.26 x 1.26 x 0.20 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; th London mark, the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold 9 .375, the letter P for the date of production 1950 and signed, "FM 9 .375 P".
