Inspired by organic forms found in nature, this abstract sculpture designed by Eduardo Herrera and crafted in silver .950, heat treated copper and tumbaga (an alloy of copper and zinc), each link on this piece is hand hammerer, cut and welded by more than 600 hinges to provide movement and flexibility. Turning this sculptural vase into a dynamic work of art. Using ancestral techniques pased on by generations Eduardo Herrera reinterprets the traditional art of silversmithing and brings a modern twist which is both bold and romantic in his workshops in Taxco, Mexico. Initially trained as an architect, EDUARDO found his passion in jewelry.
