Talk about an amazing piece of conversion jewellery, this showstopping cuff wouldn't look out of place on Superwoman and we know every woman is deserving of that title. Once a Victorian star brooch missing the pin component wishing for a new life and what a new life it has! Converted into a magnificent 18k yellow gold cuff which is incredibly beautiful. Let's talk about the Victorian star first, from the early 1900's it has a central claw set old cushion cut diamond with an estimated weight of 1.05cts, a bright white lively stone with approximately H-I colour, VS2 clarity. A 10 point star with a further 2.05cts of old European cuts and rose cut diamonds. The star actually spins on the cuff as well. Old world charm meets 21st century modern when it was added to this handmade 18k yellow gold high polish cuff. This was completely hand crafted and has been fashioned to suit the star motif. Sleek and simple lines on the cuff highlight the intricacies of the star, but it also makes it extremely wearable. The gold cuff has a thickness of 0.433 inches / 1.10cm so it's not a light weight or flimsy piece. The gap at the back of the cuff is 0.976 inches / 2.481cm wide so it's easy on and off. The cuff actually measures 2.335 inches / 5.933cm. It is designed for a medium to larger wrist size - probably a wrist over 6.5 inches in diameter is the most suitable. Total weight is 71 grams Condition Report - this piece is in very good condition, the star has bright, lively diamonds all secure in their mountings.
