Apep 10K Black Diamond Snake Bracelet by dan-yell Apep 10K Black Diamond Snake Cuff slides on at your narrowest part of the wrist while the head of the snake and tail gently holds the bracelet in place. Apep is named after an ancient Egyptian deity that appears in art as a giant serpent. Serpents are the oldest and most universal mythological symbols that represent the dual expression of good and evil as well as fertility. Delicate, fine solidity with hints of the past. Danyell Rascoe's fascination for gems began as a young child who collected rocks and stones at the gift shop at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. During a business trip to India, that love was rekindled. Softened geometric forms allow me to merge classic, modern, and ancient design elements. I conceive design as a continuum that keeps on going, exploring, and changing over time. Tear shapes and palindromes are ever present. My work aims to be delicate with a sort of strength, that allows the jewelry to be part of your everyday life. Crafted in 10K Gold & Sterling Silver using precious and semiprecious stones.
