An important one of a kind sterling silver cuff bracelet with a large, French portrait of Queen Louise of Prussia, is framed with engraving and edged in beading. Two deep red 8 x 10 mm oval natural Bohemian garnet cabochons are mounted on either side of the portrait - each paired with 5 mm round Bohemian garnet cabochons. Perfectly placed, hand stamped Native American elements resembling lace crafted into seventeenth century gentleman's cuffs finish this timeless work of art. Queen Louise was the wife of King Frederick William III of Prussia. She influenced her contemporaries and modern Germany probably more than any other woman. Often called the “Queen of Hearts”, she impressed those around her with her beauty, charisma and friendly nature.
