About the Item

Beautiful German Art Deco period bracelet made in the 1920s -1930s. Solid 18K Yellow Gold and Platinum with natural and untreated Blue Sapphire and 20 old diamond-cut Diamonds. All stones have their backs open. The floret measures 17 mm x 15 mm x 5 mm deep. Natural Blue Sapphire 10 mm x 8.6 mm x 5.25 mm deep / ca. 5.5 ct. Sapphire demonstrates inclusions and color zoning under x 10 magnification ( visual even without magnification). 14 Diamonds on floret measure Ø 3 mm / 0,14 ct each.Two largest on the flanks circa Ø 3 mm / 0,14 ct each, two following Ø 2.75 mm / 0.1 ct and 2 last ones in the row Ø 2.5 mm / 0.08. Total weight: ca 2.3ctw. Color of Diamonds ca. F, G , VS / VVS. Marked 756, no other marks. White parts in Platinum. Condition: Perfect, likely scarcely used. All stones are in great shape, with no apparent wear to the facets of the Sapphire. Two links of the chain are not originals, made of solid 18K Yellow Gold, and likely were used as extenders to make the bracelet 2 cm longer. These links are attached right beside the halves of the classic V-lock - one link on each side. Look great together with the originals.
