About the Item

Fani Gioielli Vintage Ruby and Diamond Pair of Bracelets Convertible into a Necklace in 18 Kara Rose Gold, with Provenance, Italy, c. 2000. The necklace is designed as a wide curb link chain, one link set with 39 round-cut rubies connected to another one similarly-set with 39 round brilliant-cut diamonds. Two of the polished gold links serve as invisible clasps, allowing the necklace to be converted into two bracelets that can be worn separately or together. Provenance: Formerly in the jewelry collection of a Soprano of the São Carlos National Opera House, Lisbon, Portugal. Rubies: 39 stones; approximately 2.60ct in total; purplish-Red. Diamonds: 39 stones; approximately 2.30ct in total; G/H color; VS-SI clarity. Florence (Italy) maker’s mark “1637 FI” and stamped “F” for Fani Gioielli; marked “750” for 18kt gold; Oporto marks for 18kt gold. Dimensions: 46.5cm (necklace’s length); 2.2cm (each link’s width); 25.5cm and 23cm (bracelets’ lengths). Gross weight: 157.5g. This item is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with general age and wear. Antique, period and vintage pieces, both signed and unsigned, are being offered as worn.
