About the Item
Inspired by the wonderfull shapes of the coral reefs, this abstract piece designed by Eduardo Herrera and crafted in the ROMOHERRERA workshops in Taxco, Mexico.
Using ancestral techniques passed on by generations Eduardo Herrera reinterprets the traditional art of silversmithing and brings a modern twist which is both bold and romantic.
Handmade articulated bracelet made of hammered silver .950 and tumbaga, an alloy of copper and zinc, which is then given a oxidized mate finish to maintain a golden tone with a patina that resembles the passing of time.
Eduardo Herrera is a Mexican architect, his design process of layers and rivets in his jewelry and sculptures allow for lightness and movement of the piece, turning this metal object into an easy to wear comfortable piece. The back of this piece is undercut in oxidized silver .950 with a hidden clasp.
