Mexican Sterling and Amethyst Cabochon Bracelet
About the Item
Artisan made sterling silver bracelet set with natural amethyst cabochons from the 1950s. The three curved hour glass panels are hand chased and have applied side scroll design accents and half domes in silver. The center of each panel is bevel set with a 12 x 16 mm natural amethyst and surrounded by rope twist design. The central amethyst is a deep purple while the side ones are pale purple. The bracelet is 1.5 inches wide, 7.75 inches laid flat and a half inch deep. Closed the bracelet has an interior circumference of 7.38 inches. The closure is a push pin box clasp. The back of the box is stamped Mexico and silver. The bracelet tests as sterling and weighs 69 gramps.
