Mid-Century 100-carats color-change carved sapphire and 11-carats round brilliant-cut diamond flower bracelet in platinum, 1950s/1960s. At the heart of this mesmerizing piece lies a central flowerhead motif, adorned with a cluster of 22 resplendent round brilliant-cut diamonds. Five petal-shaped carved sapphires complement this centerpiece, nestled within a diamond-set frame that exudes sophistication and elegance. From this exquisite central motif extend two sections, bedecked with additional carved sapphires, gracefully intertwined with floral-shaped articulated links of gently graduated sizes. These links, initially adorned with pave-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, culminate in a finale textured with a refined Florentine finish, creating a subtle yet striking contrast. This jewel is doubly-secured with a diamond-set click-shut clasp and a safety chain fitting. A remarkable feature of these sapphires is their color-changing nature – from a serene blue hue under sunlight to a mesmerizing violetish-blue under incandescent light, offering a captivating and ever-changing spectacle.
