An Austrian-Hungarian bracelet with emeralds. Beautiful and very unusual bracelet, created during the Austrian-Hungarian empire period, back in the 1900. This bracelet has been crafted with an intricate floriated design in solid silver and 18 karats gilding, The design is composed by six links elements and is fitted with a push security box lock. Emeralds: Mount in bezel settings, with 3 Squared step cut (10 x 10 x 6 mm) of natural green emeralds. They have a combined weight of 11.46 carats. Weight: 51.40 Grams, (32.95 Dwt). Size: The lenght is 7 Inches (17.78 Cm). Measurements: The width is 29 mm (1.14 Inches). Hallmarks: No marks as usual, tested for the silver and the 18kt gilding. History The Austro-Hungarian Empire was created in 1867 out of the Austrian Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary. It was to last until 1918. It was the second largest European country after Russia and was an important technological adopter. Increasing industrialization saw a growth in a middle class based in the cities.
