About the Item
This timeless, glamour bracelet is made from original blue Art Deco glass panels. The glass features an elegant molded motif of two stylized Art Deco nude women.
The Art Deco movement reflected a love of modernity, sleek lines, and graceful symmetry. These panels display the vertical lines and geometric sophistication that this art period is known for. Each panel features nudes in low relief, divided by a striking rectangle. The motif resembles the opulent and bold art of 20th century pioneer artist Tamara de Lempicka, giving the bracelet its name, "The Tamara Bracelet." The glass is in the style of Lalique.
Each glass panel measures 1 x 0.8 inches and is set in new sterling silver. The bracelet has a tasteful sterling silver box clasp with a safety bar release latch. The source of the glass is unknown, possibly France.
