Edwardian Lion Bangle Bracelet
About the Item
Clutching a golden ring between his powerful jaws, the King of Beasts tethers himself to a moveable golden orb ride with granulation and twisted rope of gold. The hinged bangle which opens from the side is secured with a tongue and groove clasp in addition to a safety chain.
Circa 1915.
Measurements: 6 inches (15 cm) in circumference by 1-1/8 inches (3 cm) at the widest. Weight of 14.8 grams (9.5 dwt).
