About the Item
Designed as a stylized gorilla head with textured fur- carved out of labradorite. Semi-translucent gray in body color with moderate adularescence - blue, yellow, and green flash. With glass eyes and teeth - opaque to translucent white and black. Completed with pin stem. Tested with Portuguese assay marks for 14 karat gold. With maker's mark. Circa: 1890's. Gorilla measures: 7/16 x 9/16 inch. Total length: 2 5/16 inches. Total weight: 2.7 grams. Shimmering. King. Kong.
