18k Yellow Gold Brooch Diamonds Natural Motive, 1930

About the Item

18K Yellow Gold Brooch Diamonds Natural Motives. It is made of gold threads and platinum decorations, set with diamonds. Created around 1930, it was a time between design styles, overgrown the Art Deco and yet to find something new. That is why you can see traces of the natural world masterfully executed. Stamp unclear. Once it was common to communicate a message via pin or brooch. Nowadays this art is lost, but we can surely start a new tradition. Former secretary of state Madeleine Albright published a fascinating book “Read My Pins” - a story and celebration of how one woman’s jewelry collection was used to make diplomatic history.
