About the Item
The height of fashion in the early 19th century, this beautiful watch pin is a spectacular example of a ladies fine timepiece from the period. Crafted in fourteen karat 14K yellow gold, the case is enhanced with a featured garnet center stone and miniature pearl accents. The reverse hosts the miniature pocket watch style timepiece, measuring 26mm with white dial and Roman numerals. As was the fashion for ladies of the era, this stylish piece was typically worn as a brooch hence the case is made out of lighter weight gold. The working timepiece hangs from a period correct decorative gold-filled watch pin hanger with elegant scripted personalization. In gently loved condition.
