On offer is this gorgeous 18CT SOLID GOLD PEARL AND ENAMEL FRENCH BUCKLE BROOCH DETAILS Material: 18ct (750/000) Solid Heavy Yellow Gold Style: Art Nouveau style seed pearl set brooch in a detailed buckle style Gemstones: White seed pearls set into a blue enamel surround. Age: Late Victorian (c1880s) Condition: Very Good Fastening: Gold pin and C hook clasp. Hinge is good and clasp secure. Hallmark: French Minerva 18ct hallmarked and fully tested / guaranteed (see below) Origin: Bespoke made in France. This is one of the most outstanding buckle brooches you will ever see. Appraised by Sotheby's with a replacement value of over £4,500. DIMENSIONS Length (across buckle): 43.2mm Width: 36.7 mm Depth: 18.6 mm Weight: 14.3 grams total Other Info: Very striking, well made. The brooch originates from France. Brooches are very versatile - they can be worn as is or adapted into pendants, chokers or many other things. Imagination is the only restriction.
