Victorian moss agate and yellow gold brooch circa 1900. DETAILS: GEMSTONES: one large oval flat-top moss agate stone. METAL: 9-karat yellow gold. MEASUREMENTS: approximately 2-5/16” (5.9 cm) horizontal width and 1-3/4” (4.4 cm) vertical width. CONDITION: high magnification photographs show design details and that the brooch is in pristine condition consistent with age and wear. (There are natural cavities visible on the surface and edges of the stone, which is typical of moss agate stones, like this one.) Why not make someone Happy?
