This absolutely superb antique Coral brooch is 1860/70 ca
Spectacular and important antique art piece of pretty large scale, skilfully hand carved during the time featuring the most beautiful Baccante face with rich waved hair and grapes, rare Mediterranean Coral with its lovely and unique colour
Comes in a later brooch fitting with security cup to the pin, custom made in past times of solid 18 KT gold
Classy theme inspired from the Pompei excavations spanning from 18th to 19th in vogue through Europe
Measures: 45 x 32 mm. (h. x w.) with 30.0 grams gross weight
Wonderful condition keeping with age
