A fine signed Art Deco American nautical costume jewelry brooch. By AMCO Jewelry of Providence, RI. With a gold-plated Art Deco setting and a mother-of-pearl medallion decorated with a sailboat at sea under bezel (mimicking an Essex crystal). Marked to the interior rim 1/20 10k / AMCO. Set with its original pin & catch. Simply a wonderful American nautical or maritime brooch! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is some light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches, and other signs of light wear consistent with age. Fineness: Marked 1/20 10k for gold plated.
