About the Item
A sweet little antique sterling silver and paste lace pin or brooch.
It is crafted in sterling silver with a halo of clear paste stones surrounding a faceted emerald cut red paste stone.
Due to it's small size it was most probably a lace pin, used to secure the lengths of lace or fichu at the neck of both men and women, today it could be worn in many ways, on a collar or lapel, swagged on a chain or in a hat!
Marks and era:
Marked 925 sterling silver with Pictorial makers mark urn for the Parisian Diamond company, a company based in the UK selling silver and paste jewellery imported into the UK.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, surface wear and signs of use commensurate with age, some minor discoloration of a couple paste, overall patina.
