About the Item
This is an absolutely breathtaking antique brooch that was crafted in solid 18k yellow gold during the Victorian era and features a gorgeous open work flower design that is set with fine quality diamonds throughout. The seven stunning diamonds at the flower design total approximately 5 full carats in weight and are elegantly buttercup prong set throughout. They each display a large and very attractive size with tremendous amount of brilliance and fiery effects seen with every movement. This brooch is beautifully detailed black enamel accents throughout that bring a nice bold touch to the design and is also adorned with lovely bead work and delicate milgrain etching for a truly elegant touch. Two smaller old mine cut diamonds gently dangle below in their buttercup prong settings along with an elegant gold work design that brings a wonderful touch to this piece. This magnificent antique brooch secures with a sturdy pin and hook closure for safe wear.
