Art Deco Vintage Amethyst Diamond White Gold Bow Brooch
About the Item
Central Europe, circa 1925 The bow shaped brooch is handcrafted in 14K white gold and centered with an octagon mixed cut amethyst (13.68 x 11.16 x 7.19 mm, approximately 7.27 carats) of a deep purple color with some flashes of pink. The openwork bow is embellished with old brilliant and rose cut diamonds. The amethyst could be of Siberian origin. Estimated total diamond weight is 0.50 ct. Length is 48 mm (1 7/8 in.) Marked with 585 gold standard (14K) and maker’s mark.
