Art Nouveau Amethyst Paste & Seed Pearl Brooch - 10K Gold - Signed - C. 1930's
About the Item
Art Nouveau 10K yellow gold brooch/pin - polished gold finish - hand made featuring organic scrolling tendrils and cross bar - set with four round faceted amethyst paste/glass (bezel set - 2 x 5 mm and 2 x 3.5 mm) - also set with eleven seed pearls (11 graduated end to end - .75 mm to 1 mm diameter) - original hand made 'c' catch and pin with round hinge - original silk and velvet lined retail presentation box (F.B. Phillips Leading Jeweler and Optician Smith's Falls, Ontario) - indistinctly signed - circa 1930's.
Excellent antique condition - all original - no loss - no damage - no repairs - minor signs of age and use - ready to wear - scuffs & scrapes to the exterior of the original presentation box.
Size/Dimensions - Medium - 1 5/8" Long x 3/4" High x 1/2" Deep.
