About the Item
This colossal scale 14k pink gold, golden citrine, ruby and diamond Retro period brooch positively exudes the heady spirit and expansive feel of the Mid-20th Century, here in America. With dimensions of 3 1/2 inches in length by 2 3/8 inches in width, this striking flower is impossible to miss. At the center is an oval faceted golden citrine weighing approximately 12.00cts, surrounded by brilliant cut natural rubies. Each flower petal as well as additional motifs are set with European cut diamonds. In all, the effect is happy, festive and impressive. Total approximate ruby weight is 1.75ct and total approximate diamond weight is 1.50ct. Overall diamond quality is H/I color and VS2 clarity. The brooch is not stamped but does test as 14k gold. Gross weight 72.50 grams.
