The 8 Scarabs, some of which are ancient, are arranged in three graduating rows and measure in length from 2.5cm to 1.5cm. Two have readable hieroglyphics and the other 6 have Scarab carapace reverses and the 6 Gold columns resemble the Temple Pillars of Karnak in the Upper Nile This brooch is a fine example of a Grand Tour acquisition. Condition: Good Dimensions: 9cm wide x 9cm long Weight: 70g Egyptian: circa 1840 Price: $8500
