An Edwardian horse stick pin.
Stunning piece, created in America during the Edwardian period, back in the 1909. This antique pin has been crafted in the shape of a running horse in solid yellow gold of 14 karats and platinum. It is embellished with a beautiful pave setting of diamonds and is fitted with a two inches post and a push security lock.
Diamonds: Mount in a pave setting, with 13 old European rose cut diamonds, 0.32 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS/SI clarity.
Weight: 3.85 Grams, (2.47 Dwt).
Measurements: 63 mm by 19 mm (2.48 x 0.75 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "PE'SD.PAT.AUG.17.09 14KT". The designer's box read as follow, "JOHN WANAMAKER PHILADELPHIA JEWELERS & SILVERSMITH NEW YORK PARIS LONDON".
Collateral: It is accompanied by the original designer's presentation jewelry box.
Condition: The overall condition of this pin is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold or the enamel. The amethyst is secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
