An Edwardian diamond-set buckle brooch and choker centrepiece, the rectangular shaped brooch consisted of a double openwork frame set with old European and rose-cut diamonds, with two small diamond-set spikes, the diamonds estimated to weigh 1.2 carats in total, all mounted in platinum, accompanied by detachable fittings to be worn as a chocker on velvet, circa 1910, as brooch measuring 3.1 x 2.5cm, gross weight 8.7 grams. This antique brooch/centrepiece is in very good condition for its age. Unmarked, tested as platinum, the fittings on the necklace tested as 18ct gold.
