This Magnolia Flower contemporary brooch is made of 18 karat white gold with purple cushion spinel (1.38 carats). The tender water-surface of the spinel multiplies the light, mirroring on the golden petals. The weight of the piece is about 7.5 gr.
The piece is designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva. It looks perfect from all angles, which is the result of many hours of work in 3D before the final shape was perfected.
Magnolia is one of the oldest flowers on earth, combining the symbolism of all flowers. It has one of the most beautiful shapes with a balance of symmetrical and not-symmetrical, of order and chaos.
