About the Item
This contemporary brooch is a copy of very top of dragon flower (Antirrhinum). It is made in 18 karat yellow gold with natural green tourmaline, weighing around 8.2 carats. This is a custom made piece, therefore the carats can vary depends on the day of the order, and can be discussed.
We use top natural gems, we work with a German gems company that has been in the market since the 19th century, so as with a few top lapidaries in the world for more unique rare gemstones, that only can be chosen custom way.
The sculptural design of this piece adds an extra dimension to the surface of the gold.
Antirrhinum, commonly known as snapdragon, is a flowering plant that carries various symbolic meanings depending on cultural and historical contexts. Some of the symbolism associated with snapdragons includes protection and strength. They can convey the message of standing strong in the face of challenges and providing support and protection to others. In some cultures, snapdragons are used to symbolise gratitude. They are given to express appreciation and thankfulness to someone.
