German 1925 Art Deco Golfers Couple Enamelled Pin Brooches in Sterling Silver

About the Item

Art Deco golf players brooches. Beautiful and very stylish couple of golf players, created in Germany during the art deco period, back in the 1925. This pair of pin brooches has been crafted with geometric patterns in solid .925/.999 sterling silvers and embellished with applications of hot enamel colors. Fitted at the reverse with hinged pressure clips and a security pin bar to wear. It is extremely rare to see as a male and women couple. They are exceptionally made with gorgeous craftsmanship and details, specially showing the colors and fashion of the 1920's. Weight: 7.55 Grams, (4.84 Dwt). Measurements: Average of 40 mm by 24 mm (1.57 x 0.95 Inches). Hallmarks Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed, "STERLING GERMANY GES GESH". Note: The term Ges. Gesch is an abbreviation for “Gesetzlich Geschutzt” and is the German equivalent of a trademark, copyright or patent, as seen in the United States. The translation of Gesetzlich Geschutzt literally means legally protected. Collateral: It is accompanied by a presentation jewelry box. Condition: The overall condition of this pair is excellent.
