Large Romantic Cameo Brooch Neo Classic lady in a Garden 14ct yellow gold c1950s

Words cannot describe this stunning pendant. It features a massive, solid Australian Opal mined in Queensland. The Opal displays play of colours red, blue and green with red flashes from both the front and back of the stone. This is a 'shy' Opal though, so it needs light to display its full beauty. The Opal measures approx 4.5cm x 2.3cms and is set in 14ct Yellow Gold with a Natural Diamond at the base of the bale. The Diamond is very good quality and graded colour G and clarity SI2 by the appraiser. It weighs approximately .07ct. The bale is large so it can accommodate a very thick chain as depicted in the photos. Please note: the chain is NOT included in this sale and is for display purposes only.
