Beautiful pair of sapphire and diamond flower Plique-à-jour pins/ brooches by Moira. The pins are in excellent condition. There is an estimated total weight 84.00 carats in sapphires. One pin has an estimated 50.00 carats in sapphires and the other pin has an estimated 34.00 carats in sapphires. The curved petals are pavé set with white diamonds.
Plique-à-jour is defined in the Merriam-Webster dictonary as, "a style of enameling in which usually transparent enamels are fused into the openings of a metal filigree to produce an effect suggestive of stained glass."
