Oxidized Sterling Silver "Void" Brooch

About the Item

This elegant, striking brooch in very contemporary oxidised sterling silver is designed and made by UK jeweler Sarah Pulvertaft. With its assymetric circle the entire brooch is comprised of individual mini cubes. These moveable cubes, each capturing the reflection of light differently, are the signature of Sarah's very original style. This brooch complements the Oxidised Sterling Silver "Void" Pierced Earrings ( Ref.: LU2127211020012), shown separately. Sarah uses traditional jewelry making techniques to create unique, handmade fine jewelry with a twist. Using repeated and kinetic elements she creates undulating and rippling surfaces, embuing each piece with a playful quality. The work of jewelry maker Sarah Pulvertaft has been selected by internationally renowned contemporary jewelry expert and curator Bryna Pomp who searches the world for outstanding precious metal jewelry that defines contemporary through its innovative design and craftsmanship.
