Late 1940's American abstract modernist bass or stringed instrument guitar brooch created by Peter Macchiarini of San Francisco, California. Brooch consists of layers of oxidized copper and sterling silver with pierced design and measures 3.5" by 1.5" and is signed on verso Macchiarini. Suitable for a man or woman and in very good vintage condition.
