Rare 22" Costume Vintage Huge Lobster Decor Display Brooch Museum Piece
About the Item
Never seen a huge brooch like this, so unique and stunning in person
I was told that this brooch was custom made for designer on the runway but we don't have any names or photographs to match the story.
Unsigned .
Colors and workmanship in person is so amazing and this brooch could be used to be displayed as art piece since craftsmanship and size of this piece is something that's impossible to find nowadays.
I believe this piece date from 1960's to 1970's .
Approximate weight
3.8 pounds or 1.7 kg.
Approximate Length 22" length x 9" wide middle part .
Back of the brooch has about 6 pins to attach this to garment but this piece is so heavy and spectacular that I can imagine this being part of some very special dress.
Middle part legs can be moved and whole piece is made off 3 sections and attached with hooks.
Couple very minor repairs ,please see pictures.Condition is very good.
