Retro Diamond Bow Brooch in 18 Karat Rose Gold and Platinum 950
About the Item
This extravagant yet playful bow brooch from the mid 20th century is crafted in 18 karat rose gold and platinum 950.
The centre part is set with a brilliant-cut diamond of approximately 0.35 carats, H/I colour and vs clarity. In addition, the three-dimensionally shaped bow is set with 98 single-cut diamonds of G/H colour and vs/si clarity, total weight approximately 2.10 carats.
The whole brooch is ingeniously designed and intricately constructed. The diamonds are set à jour, and the two hanging bands consist of individually worked elements, each connected by a small hinge. Thus the brooch is always in motion and the diamonds radiate a lively fire.
