Victorian 3.00ct Diamond Crescent Moon Brooch, circa 1880s
About the Item
This Gorgeous Crescent Moon Brooch from the 1880s is a truly unique piece. A total of 3.00 carat graduated old cut diamonds ranging from 0.40 carat to 0.03 carat line the moon design creating a truly eye catching brooch. The diamonds range in quality from G-H in colour and VS - SI in clarity. All the stones are set into silver, which was typical of the period. The brooches back and pin are made from 15 carat Yellow Gold. There is an an additional safety chain to keep the brooch from ever falling off, which is also made from 15 carat Yellow Gold.
