An exceptional, stunning and impressive vintage 4.95 carat diamond and platinum brooch in the Art Deco style; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections. This exceptional vintage diamond brooch has been crafted in platinum. The pierced decorated Art Deco style platinum frame has an abstract form, displaying a central feature six claw set 0.40Ct transitional modern brilliant round cut diamond. Three plume shaped settings emanate from the central diamond, embellished with a combined total of thirty-seven pavé set transitional modern brilliant round cut and eight-cut diamonds. The vintage diamond brooch is ornamented with three collet set baguette cut diamonds to the lower portion of the feature diamond, and four channel set square cut diamonds accent the upper border of the design. Nineteen individually bezel set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds complete the abstract arrangement; this array could be correlated with the base of a classic Art Deco plume headdress/headpiece/fascinator. A stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian 2.50 carat opal and 0.12 carat diamond, 18 karat yellow gold brooch - boxed; part of our diverse brooches collection This stunning, fine and impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 15k yellow gold. This fine brooch has a pierced decorated elliptical frame, displaying two floral motifs. The brooch is ornamented to the center with an impressive bezel set cabochon cut opal. This stunning central gemstone is flanked with flower motifs, each ornamented to the center with a claw set Old European cut diamond. Each diamond is encircled by six individually set cabochon cut opals, completing the cluster designs. The elliptical frame conjoining each floral cluster is embellished with two claw set round faceted cut rubies to the center of the arch. The Victorian bar brooch features an individual eight claw set round faceted cut ruby decorated terminal to either end. The brooch secures with a hinged pin and clasp to the reverse. The brooch is fitted to an impressive hinged leatherette presentation box, with a satin and velvet lined interior, securing with a push fit catch. This opal brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 karat gold. This impressive Victorian brooch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card. Condition This impressive brooch is excellent quality, set with impressive opals displaying a scintillating play of color. The impressive rubies displaying fine color and brilliance. The supporting diamonds display a fine white color and brilliance. The exterior of the box is in presentation condition; the interior of the box shows wear in keeping with age.
