This is a stunning Victorian-era piece of jewelry that dates back to the year 1870. The 14Kt yellow gold and black/white hardstone cameo depicts a beautiful woman in profile and features wonderful tassel drops, as well as lovely scrolled and applied gold detailing. The craftsmanship on this piece is truly amazing.
On the reverse side, you'll find that everything is original, including the tube hinge, c-catch, hook to hang perhaps a watch or another tassel if you choose, and hooks so that it can be worn as a pendant on a chain. This versatility adds to the value of this piece, as it can be worn in different ways to suit different occasions or outfits.
