Victorian Pave Turquoise Snake Brooch

About the Item

The serpent was a Victorian era symbol of everlasting love and devotion. Rendered in 15k gold, the body of this delightful coiled snake is pave-set with bright turquoise cabochons and accented with glowing ruby eyes. A tiny heart shaped charm dangles from its mouth containing a woven lock of brown hair under a rock crystal cover. The back of the snake is hand engraved, "G.F.T. from E.G." and the heart, "Forget me not". A charming token of affection. Measurements: 1 1/2" x 1" Weight: 6.9 grams
