Victorian Rock Crystal Swag Brooch
About the Item
Unusual Victorian Rock Crystal Swag Brooch in 18k pink gold with faceted rock crystals in a double star brooch configuration with a swag of linked stones on a chain. Designed to replicate period diamonds, this brooch gives an impressive look especially on darker back grounds.
Each star brooch is set with sparkling round crystals in filigree settings and measures 1" each. The articulated swag measures 3.5". Very versatile and can be worn in many ways. There are retractable 2 bales which are on the top of each star which allowed for a chain to be attached to form a centerpiece for a necklace. Super high quality manufacture. 1880's USA.
