About the Item
This piece was made using a fish element from a handmade Kurdish wedding necklace.
The fish in Jewish and Muslim culture is a symbol of luck , prosperity and in some places fertility.
Here in our Jerusalem workshop we have taken this element that is made in acid tested 22 karat and added a handmade 18 karat gold safety pin.
this kind of charm is traditionally to place in the crib of a newborn baby.
It can be worn as a pin or the fish could be taken off the safety pin and it could be used like a charm for a bracelet or necklace.
