About the Item
A stunning, fine and impressive vintage 55 carat amethyst and 3.02 carat diamond, 18 karat white gold brooch; part of our diverse vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This stunning, fine and impressive vintage amethyst brooch has been crafted in 18k white gold.
This large and imposing brooch is ornamented with nine stunning collet set amethysts, displayed in a sporadic cluster array to the organic shaped frame.
The centre of the brooch is ornamented with nine interlacing curvilinear leaf style designs, ornamented with a total of one-hundred and eighteen pavé set eight-cut diamonds.
The brooch secures to the reverse with a double hinged pin and sheath style fastening.
This substantial vintage amethyst brooch is hallmarked to the pin with the French import gold mark (owl) and has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18k white gold.
The brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card.

Condition
This stunning vintage brooch is excellent quality, set with stunning amethysts displaying fine colour, brilliance and presence.
The very well colour matched and very high colour graded diamonds display a fine white colour, brilliance and presence.
This large amethyst and diamond brooch is an excellent gauge of gold and is in excellent condition, with a clear hallmark to the hinged pin.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this fine example of gemstone jewelry/estate jewelry.
