Vintage 9ct Gold Cameo Brooch NeoClassical Lady Wearing Earrings Necklace c1940s
About the Item
This brooch speaks quality.
It features a vintage Cameo that is hand carved in Sardonyx Shell (Conch shell) and depicts an elegant lady wearing a necklace and earrings. Her curls are upswept and she has a whimsical, Mona Lisa smile! Circa 1940s and is thought to be Italian.
The setting is 9ct yellow gold with a wide rim and handmade accentuated claws encircling the cameo which adds unique detail to the piece.
The brooch is secured by a gold pin with good hinge and a C clasp with a safety chain attached.
This brooch is large, measuring approximately 6cms x 5cms so it is very eye catching and it is in very good condition.
