An impressive vintage 0.14 carat diamond and 0.03 carat ruby, 18 karat gold brooch; part of our diverse gemstone jewelry collections This fine and impressive vintage brooch has been crafted in 18k yellow gold. The brooch has been modelled in the form of a seated character, singing and playing an accordion. The accordion has extended bellows and is ornamented with five individually bezel set transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds to each handpiece. The figure's convex spherical head is ornamented with two transitional modern brilliant round cut diamonds replicating the eyes, in addition to a round faceted cut ruby representing the character's mouth. The accordionist is wearing a plain cross brace to the torso, with a horizontal ribbed texture beneath. The seated character is supported by impressive rope twist decorated strands, conjoined to provide a rounded, textured border.
