About the Item
I love this animal series from Reja New York . All bodies of the animals are presented with a large cut rhinestone. Worked in silver/sterling and gold plated. They date from the early 1940s USA . Very rare collector pieces, you can nearly no more find.
Measurement: Hight 7 cm, width 3.5 cm, rhinestone 2.2 x 1.8 cm
Why do flamingos stand on one leg?
Flamingos can often be seen standing on one leg when the animals are in the water. There is a reason for this: flamingos pull up one leg so that their body does not lose too much heat. If both legs were in the water, the flamingos would cool down too quickly.
