About the Item

This is a truly jaw dropping vintage statement brooch or pendant that was crafted in platinum during the 1950s and is drenched with approximately 13.65 carats of very fine quality diamonds throughout. It features multiple branches of baguette channels that are bundled together and elegantly flow from the overlapping ribbon design at the top part of this stunning piece. The branches are adorned with pear cut diamonds that are each neatly prong set in an open basket settings, and slightly graduate in size throughout - although even the smallest of the pear cuts shows a very nice large size. The overlapping ribbon design at the top is channel set with baguettes as well, and features round brilliant cut diamonds that are prong and pave set in an in-and-out like style that guarantees maximum sparkle from every angle. This large and absolutely breathtaking piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant as it is equipped with a very sturdy pin with swivel closure as well as a bail.
