White Gold Contemporary Floral Brooch by the Artist with Quartz
About the Item
This contemporary floral brooch in 14 karat white gold belongs to the Sakura collection. The item was featured in Vogue UA magazine.
This brooch looks contemporary design jewellery and add a romantic attitude. The frosted flower of cherry blossom is open for the light and looks exquisite.
The frosted crystal flower fits best for the wedding outfits, yet can be worn as an everyday revisiting to the fragile beauty and tenderness. The quartz looks like a real frozen flower and adds the splash of spring freshness.
The first pieces from Sakura collection were designed by oil painter Polya Medvedeva. Two twigs of sakura flowers were a blossom brooch diptych, where the one twig was longer than another. Each crystal flower is unique and handmade for the artist.

Polya Medvedeva launched her contemporary jewelry line in 2010. She lives and works as an oil painter in Berlin, Germany. Her inspiration is rooted in the aesthetic theories of Xie He, a Chinese theorist from the 5th century. Her designer jewelry combines the precise work of professional fine jewelers with a rich history of being in the market since the 19th century, along with new sculptural ideas by the artist herself. Polya's pieces are featured in Vogue UA, Harper’s Bazaar UA, Another magazine UK, and other publications. One of Polya's notable admirers is the German actress Anne Ratte-Polle, who selected her jewelry to wear on the red carpet of the Berlinale Film Festival.
